Not to brag or anything but when I get naked in the bathroom, the shower usually gets turned on.

All the Ms. Fortune and Cerebella changes (Which will affect me most since they’re my mains) are just fixing various things. So they’ll mostly play the same.

The new Skullgirls patch has a lot of changes to Big Band, which will hopefully make it so he isn’t absolutely dreadful to have to fight against. They’ve also made it so when you play as Valentine you can choose to throw a syringe or a shuriken after you’ve filled the syringe. Pressing the button throws a shuriken. Holding it briefly throws a syringe. I like this, because now you can hold onto the syringe until the best possible moment to use the poison you’ve chosen, and a moment when you’re less likely to whiff it.

I’ve seen an article going around asking “What can we learn from Destiny, Watch_Dogs, and Titanfall?” And it’s all about big games failing to live up to explanation.

The problem with it though, is that failure isn’t entirely because of the games. So what can we learn from them? That people need…

Companies should also be responsible not to over sell their games. Bungei put millions of dollars into a marketing budget just to tell us what an experience destiny would be and stuff. Hype is a very dangerous thing that is in the responsibility of both the makers and players

It would have been Activision, not Bungie. And that’s typical of any big budget entertainment. You have to advertise it to get people to know about your product and buy it. While the more ads there are for something the more the overall excitement will be, consumers should still know to keep their expectations realistic.

The problem with it though, is that failure isn’t entirely because of the games. So what can we learn from them? That people need to learn to keep their expectations reasonable. All of those games faced an impossible amount of hype upon release. There’s no way they could live up to it. And we can learn that you shouldn’t let your opinion of a game or it’s popularity be colored the few people vocal about disliking the games, many of whom seem to just want them to fail for being big and popular, and a couple lukewarm reviews. All three have a ton of people playing, and really enjoying them, and have been successful. Finally, we need to learn to be more open to and supportive of new IPs like these. Especially when they are fairly ambitious and have big stuff planned. New ideas and experiences are always needed in video games.
